WPColt

Services

WPColt is primarily a product project, but many cache problems still need human review. The services below are designed for WordPress site owners, agencies, and publishers who have already tried a caching plugin and still cannot explain stale pages, inconsistent speed, or confusing headers.

Cache troubleshooting

A focused cache troubleshooting engagement looks at your active plugins, hosting cache, CDN configuration, object cache, cookies, headers, and purge behavior. The goal is a short list of fixes in the right order, not an endless performance report.

Speed and cache audits

A speed audit combines front-end findings with server-side cache evidence. We look for uncacheable pages, excessive plugin weight, blocked assets, poorly configured image delivery, slow database behavior, and CDN rules that work against WordPress.

Cloudflare, Varnish, and server-cache setup

Managed hosts and CDNs can be powerful, but they need sane rules. We help map which layer should cache HTML, which pages must be excluded, how purging should work, and how to verify that the final setup behaves as expected.

Migration and cleanup support

If you are moving hosts, removing an old optimization plugin, or cleaning up years of performance tweaks, the priority is stability. We document the current stack, remove redundant layers, and test the important public and private paths before the work is considered complete.

Typical deliverables

  • A plain-English cache map of the site.
  • A prioritized fix list with risk notes.
  • Before-and-after verification using request headers and logged-out tests.
  • Recommendations for plugin consolidation where the stack is doing duplicate work.
