WPColt starts with a free diagnostic product because trust has to come before a checkout page. The useful gap in WordPress performance is diagnosis: site owners need to know whether caching is working, whether layers are fighting, and what to fix first.

Why pricing is staged
The WordPress ecosystem already has many optimization products. WPColt should not charge for vague promises. The free release is meant to prove the diagnostic method. Paid plans should exist only when they save real time: monitoring cache drift, exporting client reports, tracking changes after plugin updates, or reviewing a complicated stack by hand.
Will there be a lifetime deal?
Not at launch. Lifetime pricing often rewards early sales before product responsibility is clear. WPColt is better served by a free diagnostic foundation and paid plans that match ongoing maintenance value.
Will Pro replace a caching plugin?
No. WPColt diagnoses the stack. It is not meant to replace WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, host cache, Cloudflare, Redis, or Varnish.
Can agencies use the free version?
Yes, for individual checks. Agency features are planned around scale: repeated scans, exports, client reporting, and multi-site visibility.
Review the Sample Report to see what a useful diagnostic output should look like before deciding whether a paid plan would be valuable.
