WPColt is an independent WordPress project focused on cache diagnostics. It exists because performance advice often starts in the wrong place. Site owners are told to add a caching plugin, connect Cloudflare, enable Redis, switch hosts, minify files, and buy another optimization add-on. The harder question comes afterward: did any of it actually work?
The problem WPColt is solving
Modern WordPress sites often have several caching layers at once: a WordPress plugin, server cache, object cache, browser cache, CDN cache, and sometimes edge HTML cache. Each layer can be useful. Each layer can also hide the behavior of another layer. When pages are slow, stale, or inconsistent, owners need diagnosis before more optimization.

What WPColt believes
- Evidence beats folklore.
- Public pages and private pages need different cache rules.
- A HIT is useful only when it happens in the right place.
- A slow site does not always need another plugin.
- Trust grows when reports are specific, humble, and verifiable.

WPColt is not an official partner of WordPress, Cloudflare, Redis, Varnish, LiteSpeed, Nginx, or any hosting company. Product names may appear because they are common parts of real WordPress infrastructure. Mentions should not imply endorsement or partnership.
What this site publishes
The editorial library includes cache explanations, header references, updated legacy WordPress guides, plugin reviews, and site-owner tutorials. Old URLs are being rebuilt with current guidance instead of thin placeholders because trust comes from useful pages, not just preserved links.
