Editorial Policy

WPColt publishes WordPress guides, cache diagnostics explainers, reviews, and restored legacy topics. The editorial goal is to help readers make practical decisions about WordPress performance, caching, hosting, plugins, and site maintenance.

Standards

  • Articles should answer the reader’s real problem before discussing tools.
  • Recommendations should name tradeoffs and verification steps.
  • Technical claims should be checked against current WordPress behavior, public documentation, or hands-on testing where possible.
  • Old articles may be rewritten when the URL has value but the original advice is outdated.

Sponsored content and guest posts

WPColt may consider sponsored content or guest contributions only when they are relevant to WordPress site owners. Sponsored relationships should be disclosed. Editorial control should remain with WPColt.

Corrections

Readers can request corrections through the Contact page. Good corrections include the page URL, the specific statement in question, and a source or reproduction step that shows why it should change.
