WordPress is great, no doubts. Yet, there are specific parts of it where they lack the same level of greatness. The registration and login system is one of these parts. If you allow public registration on your website, the current registration system of WordPress does not look ‘very professional’ and probably won’t suit your business. Especially when you need to customize the form or add new custom fields.
In this post, I’ll review RegistrationMagic , a powerful registration plugin. It allows creating registration forms (and many other forms) to use them anywhere on your website. Let’s dive into RegistrationMagic and see what it has got to offer.
At its simplest definition, RegistrationMagic is a WordPress plugin that gives you the freedom to create any kind of registration forms using an easy-to-use builder. You are free to use these forms wherever you like on your website using shortcodes or widgets.
RegistrationMagic Main Features
RegistrationMagic free and premium versions share 90+ features. I want to highlight the main features here:

How RegistrationMagic Works?
Once you install RegistrationMagic and navigate to the settings page, these helpful tooltips will guide you to discover the different sections of the plugin.
When you click ‘New Form’ you’ll be asked to choose the form type. You get to choose between creating a registration form and any other kind of forms.
I chose to create a registration form because I really don’t like the default WordPress registration form. Once you create the form, you can use the form builder to add fields, widgets and design the form.
As you can see, you can add widgets to the form such as Headings, Paragraphs, Rich Texts, Videos, etc.
Additionally, you can design each field in your form individually.
When you’re done designing your form, you can insert it anywhere on your website using shortcodes and widgets.
Form and Fields Analytics
One of the RegistrationMagic greatest features is that it provides detailed information about your forms so that you can see how your forms are performing.
You can check the browser used, average filling time, submission rate and other useful data.
On top of that, you have all the stats about your form fields! In case you use any type of multi-select box, you can view the data for which fields users select the most.
User Management and Custom Roles
With RegistrationMagic you are able to manage your users via the User Manager settings. You can check which forms a particular user submitted. Also, you can send the user a direct email.
On the other hand, you can define custom roles and assign them to your users. Moreover, you can create ‘Paid Roles‘.
Integrations and Payments
RegistrationMagic provides a huge list of integrations with different platforms such as MailChimp, Aweber, and Constant Contact. One of the most impressive features of RegistrationMagic is that you can (with a few clicks!) enable social logins to your website. Users can log in using their Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin or Instagram accounts as easy as ABC!
Additionally, if you want to create a form that accepts payments, for axample memberships payments, RegistrationMagic lets you integrate with Paypal, Stripe, Authorize.net, etc.
Pricing and Documentation
RegistrationMagic comes with 3 pricing plans; Free, Premium and Premium+.
Free: you can download it from WordPress repository.
Premium: Priced at $89, license for one site with 1 year of support and updates. This is the perfect plan if you are willing to use it on one site only.
Premium+: Priced at $189 for unlimited sites and lifetime updates and support.
You can check the full comparison between the different plans on the plugin’s website.
I must say that RegistrationMagic documentation is detailed and well organized. If you are new to using the plugin, the folks at RegistrationMagic have created a starter guide that will walk you through setting up the plugin and going over the basics. The knowledge base offers detailed articles that explain using the different plugin features.
One of the pillars of any website is having a form. Whether it is a registration form, contact form, or any type of form, it is always a plus to be able to fully customize it. I must say that RegistrationMagic is the right plugin to create customized forms. It is also worth mentioning that RigistrationMagic has got many bells and whistles that weren’t extensively covered in this article. Want to give RegistrationMagic a try?
