Security comes first! No doubt that WordPress security is one of the vital matters to WordPress websites owners. In this SecuPress review, we’re going to play with the baby plugin and see what it has to offer.

SecuPress is a security plugin developed by WP Media the creators of WP Rocket and Imagify. The plugin itself is still new, but WP Media company has been in the market for a quite long time and it has, with no doubts, a very good reputation.

Overall Look

Once you install and activate the plugin, it’ll ask you to scan the website.

When you click the “Scan My Website” button, a nice and fast scanner will start scanning your WordPress core files, plugins, and themes.

Once it’s done, you will get your website security grade and a list of the points that have been checked by SecuPress.

You will have to check all points and start fixing them. Points are divided into sections, each section represents one of the plugin’s modules.

SecuPress has 12 modules. Each one is responsible for providing you with the security tweaks that you can apply for every part of your website.

Unlike the other security plugins, SecuPress successfully organized its several features. Let me explain myself. I have been using several security plugins for years, each one of them has its own set of features, but I have never seen a security plugin that organizes and divides its features into sections like what I have seen in SecuPress.

Support & Updates

SecuPress is still new in the market, but WP Media is well-known for supporting its products. Undoubtedly, they will provide the same level of support as they do for their other plugins.

The Bad

In my opinion, there are few features that should be included in the free version of SecuPress. Such as Malware Scanner, Anti Spam, and Anti Brute-Force. As they are included in other free WordPress security plugins.

How To Get

You can ask for an early access via SecuPress website.
